Québec, highway 132, edge of Magog River, an Indian village still stands. The Abenakis have gathered for the annual pow wow, some have come all the way from Maine. Denise, a Québecoise from the facing village has been observing the evolution of Odanak for a few decades now. Tom Bomazeen, an American Abenaki, once bought a house there and left.
